Character Overview
Steroids is the seventh character in the game and is unlocked by
reaching 6-1 (Labs) as any character. His loadout starts with two
Revolvers which compliments his active ability.
His B-Skin is unlocked
if he defeats the Technomancer, a boss found on 6-1 L1 (loop Labs).
His C-Skin is unlocked by reaching (sitting on) the Nuclear Throne without picking up any weapons.
Starting with a golden weapon is allowed.

Abilities
Active: "Dual Wielding"
- Pressing RMB will cause Steroids to fire his secondary weapon, which can be fired at the same time as his primary weapon.
- Unlike other characters, if Steroids is holding a weapon it is not removed from the drop pool.
-
All weapons are now automatic. A full list can be viewed
here, with sortable columns.
- Any weapons with the fire type of 'single shot/single swing' are now automatic instead.
- Any weapons with the fire type of 'burst fire' are now automatic burst instead.
-
As a negative passive Steroids will also have an inaccuracy of '1.8',
where other mutants accuracy is '1'.
- Inaccuracy is used as a multiplier for weapon spread; the effect is small for accurate weapons and huge for weapons that already have a wider spread.
- Weapons with a fixed weapon spread are also affected by this, such as Shovel or Super Crossbow.
-
Eagle Eyes will change his accuracy to '0.54', while other mutants
accuracy changes to '0.3'.
- This means that Steroids can never get 'normal' accuracy, either being very inaccurate or very accurate.
- Firing one weapon has a chance to give ammo for the other. The chance is increased if both LMB and RMB are held simultaneously.
- Does not work if one or both weapons do not use ammo.
- The ammo given is half that of an ammo pickup which is 16 Bullets, 4 Shells, 4 Bolts (rounded up), 3 Explosives and 5 Energy.
- The exact chance is actually a complicated formula. (To be added later)

Ambidextrous Ultra: "Double Weapons From Chests"
- Weapon chests and cursed chests will have their sprites replaced with Steroids-specific variants and contain two of the same weapons.
- Big weapon chests and big cursed chests give their usual three weapons, but now include a fourth that is a copy of one of the other weapons.
- The extra weapon will give the player ammo like usual.
- Ammo chests will be replaced with a Steroids-specific variant that gives all five types of ammo at once.
- The amount of ammo for each type is the same as normal ammo chests.
- Present chests don't change visually but will behave just like Steroids ammo chests. IDPD chests are unchanged.
- Whatever primary weapon is held when opening these chests do not matter.
- If a portal opens one of these chests they will instead behave like a normal ammo chest, giving two ammo pickups.
- Steroids will always start a run with dual Revolvers. The second Revolver gives 64 extra Bullets on start, giving 160 Bullets combined.
- If Steroids runs a golden weapon it will only ever replace the primary Revolver.
- For weekly challenges on u100, Steroids will only ever start with the preset weapon(s). This is the only situation in which he will ever have one weapon.
- On u99, Steroids will start runs with his secondary Revolver if there is only one preset weapon.
